Shipping Instructions for fairs
As Norway is no part in the EU, every shipment (even shipments with a ATA-Carnet) has to be custom cleared when arriving to Norway.
Norvegian custom authoryties demands a Norwegian VAT number or a Norwegian persons number on buyer, or outlay by forewarder to accsept a clearence. Therefore, if sender want his own forewarder to arrange with the clearence in Norway he must ask the forewarder to take the costs back to sender.
Otherwise sender must ask for a cif or ddu (International Incoterms) shipment, and use TIMING Transport as second notify address . Then we can do the clearence and have full control with the costs.
In bouth ways a proforma invoice must be writhen, with sender bouth as seller and buyer (do not sign us as buyer).
If sender has equipment that will be returned after the exhibition, this must be clearly marked in invoice and valued. This will be temporary import cleared, and VAT will be payed back on dockumented export.
If you ar partisipating on two or more exhibitions, you may send all the gods to the first site, and we will arrange the shipments further.
